Tegneklubben: three girls with a mission!
Tegneklubben is an art club started by Marthe, Ida and Frida - three 11 year olds who go to Torvbråten School in Røyken, Norway.
First mission
They drew colour pictures, which they sold as 'master pieces' to neighbours. With the money raised they bought pencils and paper for Mountain People’s School in Goldhunga
Second mission
They then organised a sales stand at a local shopping centre to sell Beni Handicrafts re-cycled functional products from Nepal.
When Marthe with family visited Nepal on a trekking holiday, she used the funds to purchase braille books and special braille writing paper which were delivered to the Mountain People Blind Home, also near Goldhunga.
